Eastern Green preschool playgroup opened in 1968 and re registered in 2003. We operate in a Village Hall based in Eastern Green serving the local area.
The quality of the provision has been outstanding since March 2011. We are a charity run non-profit preschool, run by a parent committee. The preschool is registered under OFSTED. The charity is registered under Charity Commission. We aim to create a nurturing and stimulating environment with our dedicated staff team, where children can progress. We provide outstanding childcare and early education for children from 2 to 4 years.

Our mission is to focus on children, continuing to provide outstanding childcare and education through the early year’s foundation stage.
We provide a nurturing and welcoming environment which makes our children and families feel at ease. Our friendly, approachable staff team is small but has a wealth of qualifications and professional training behind it. Staff extend children’s play, tune in to the children’s way of learning and share their fun and interest to help children to flourish. We share an excellent relationship with our parents and carers, working with them as partners. We are a unique and positive setting promoting equality and diversity. We will do our best to help your child to achieve and develop within a safe and happy environment.
