Our Staff Team

The names and photos of each of our staff members,  including their early years qualifications and training courses completed are displayed in the Pre-school entrance. Our preschool team consists of a Manager, Deputy and Early Years Educators and two inhouse bank staff .  Our staff wear a uniform so that children can  easily recognise them and the children wear a similar uniform.    All staff have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check completed before they are permitted to work at the Preschool and some  are on the DBS web-based update service to enable them to work with our children.

Our dedicated team have a vast range of childcare skills, knowledge and experience, including relevant qualifications.   in early childhood and education. Staff undergo continuous professional development. Many of our staff have long service or have previously been parents themselves with  their children also attending the setting. 

We have named designated safeguarding leads and all other staff have regular safeguarding training.  A special educational needs coordinator supports our children with additional needs ensuring inclusive practice. We also have health and safety coordinators who carry out regular risk assessments; the safety of our children is paramount. All staff are paediatric first aid trained.

Our staff implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Our team are committed to creating a warm, nurturing, safe environment, supporting children with their learning and development whilst providing fun and engaging experiences. Each child is assigned a key person who will work closely with the child and their family. We provide outstanding quality childcare and prepare children for school. Our staff work in partnership with parents, carers, the Local authority, health care and education professionals to meet the needs of individual children.
